Brain entrainment

Brain entrainment

Brainwave entrainment aims to bring your brainwave frequencies into step with specific frequencies related to certain brain states or activities. For example, delta wave entrainment could be used to help induce deep sleep.
Isochronic tones are one form of brain wave entrainment. You may also have heard of other common methods such as binaural beats and monaural beats.
Although monaural beats, binaural beats and isochronic tones can all be used effectively, some people find it difficult to listen to monaural or binaural beats for a lengthy period of time. Furthermore, isochronic tones can be listened to without headphones, unlike binaural beats. This makes listening to them a lot more comfortable for many people, especially if you prefer to listen to the tracks whilst lying down. Of course, if you prefer to use headphones you still can.

Alpha waves
Alpha waves are associated with relaxed wakefulness, increased focus and concentration, and creative thought. If you are new to brain entrainment or meditation, alpha tones are an excellent way to start.
Theta waves
Theta waves are slower than alpha waves, and are associated with lucid dreaming and deep meditation. Use theta tones for all kinds of meditation, to help you relax, increase concentration, or to rejuvenate your body and mind.
Delta waves
Delta waves are slower than theta waves and are associated with deep sleep and may help the formation of declarative and explicit memory formation. It has also been linked with the release of chemicals in the brain such as serotonin and DHEA. Use delta tones to help you fall asleep, or when you need deep relaxation and emotional cleansing.
